Raku Inoue is a multidisciplinary Japanese artist living and working in Montreal, Canada. Inspired by the ancient and traditional art of flower arranging, Ikebana, originally from Japan, Inoue transforms leaves, petals, twigs and pieces of bark into colorful portraits of insects and other animals. The artist shows his audience what happens when creativity and nature meet, with a series of fascinating works that pay homage to the beauty of nature and its creatures.
