It seems that humanity is increasingly committed to destroying our planet, waging an endless war against nature. Sure, sometimes it’s necessary to build houses and structures, but is it always necessary to impose a devastating impact on vegetation? The buildings we showcase here are the expression of architects who have decided to find a middle ground: instead of cutting down trees to build their homes, the trees are incorporated as part of the new structures. Deforestation has a significant environmental impact. Many studies suggest that it is one of the factors responsible for global warming; it has a strong impact on the water cycle, reducing the amount of water in the soil and air; it contributes to soil erosion; and it results in a reduction of biodiversity. Urbanization accounts for only a small part of global deforestation, but it is important for its psychological impact. Will we continue to reduce forests to build our homes, or will it be necessary to interact with the surrounding environment? How can we change our living habits to be more mindful of nature?. These images represent a good example of such interaction!
